Craving a cake, and want it A.S.A.P? Want to avoid the mess and hassle of baking, but want a homemade cake? Don't bother to pick up the phone and order a cake to your door because with this recipe you'll have your cake ready faster than you can say mug cake.

Try our instant chocolate mug cake that'll literally take two minutes of your time to make.

Ingredients:
3 tbsps milk of choice
3 tbsps butter
3 tbsps all-purpose flour
3 tbsps granulated sugar
2 tbsps cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla sugar

Directions:

Melt butter in a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Mix the dry ingredients in a mug. Add the melted butter and milk and whisk with a fork until smooth.

Microwave for 1-1½ mins and voila enjoy your instant treat.

Please note that all microwaves are different, so it's difficult to give a precise cook time. The first time you try this recipe, start with 70 seconds, wait 1 minute while it cools, then check to see if the cake is set. Add an additional 15-25 seconds if needed and then allow it to rest in the microwave for 1 minute. Once you figure out the right setting and time for your microwave, you won't have to do this step again.

Pro Tip:
For a soft and spongey cake, stop cooking the cake earlier than you think because the cake will continue to cook as it cools.
