In the countdown to everyone's favorite holiday, we like to slow down and unwind with a craft day. This season, we're sharing the holiday cheer with passersby and guests by hanging heartwarming outdoor ornaments on our porch and outside our windows. Here's how to make one, two or more of these festive decorations:
You'll need:
A heart-shaped silicone baking mold (other shapes work as well)
Water
Cinnamon stick
Raffia yarn

Directions for the Ice Ornaments
Fill the baking mold to the brim with water.
Put it in the freezer.
Once frozen, remove from mold and place the ice hearts under a fine stream of hot water to make a hole for the yarn.
Place a cinnamon stick right above the hole.
Thread the yarn through the hole from front side and tie a a basic overhand knot to secure the cinnamon stick.
